The Fed Pennies song “Buzzing in My Head” was recently chosen for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics official video game released by SEGA this week. The song can also be heard in the promotional trailer and is available now in stores and online for XBOX 360 and PS3.

“…..having a song in a video game is a great way to gain exposure in other markets around the globe, we’re very excited,” says Jake Smith (lead singer/guitarist of The Fed Pennies). “Some of our friends have already played the game and they say it kicks ass”.

The band has just re-released their second CD, Brain Disaster (including a full bonus acoustic EP) on November 24, 2009 on Sound of Pop Records with national distribution in Canada by Fontana North/Universal Music Canada and a worldwide publishing deal through Sound of Pop Publishing/ole.

www.thefedpennies.com

Here’s what they’re saying about The Fed Pennies:

“….The Fed Pennies have a very different vibe with distorted vocals and catchy chords. Good solid songs”.
– Famous Music Publishing UK

“…..Great songs, very suitable for radio” …
– Mike Bordin (Ozzy/Faith No More)

“I’ve been a fan of these guys since the get go. Definitely a must see live” –
– Anna Zee (Q104 Halifax’s Music Director)
